Who we are

Milkly is operated by Nikita Mishin (Nekitech). Contact support@nekitech.dev for support or privacy requests. No account is required. When you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, and use it to respond.

Your records and storage

Your pumping and feeding sessions, milk stash, settings, and baby’s birth or due date are stored on your device and, when available, in your private iCloud database using CloudKit. We cannot access your private CloudKit records. Exports and backups are files you create and control; consider who can access the location where you save them.

Health information

Milkly is not a medical device and provides estimates, not medical advice. It does not use HealthKit or share your records with health providers. You decide whether to share an export with a professional.

Purchases

Apple handles billing. Adapty receives purchase receipts/status and an anonymous identifier to manage entitlements, restore purchases and evaluate paywall performance, with basic app/device information. We do not send it your name, email or health records. Apple and Adapty retain purchase information under their policies and applicable obligations.

Usage analytics

With “Share usage data” enabled, Milkly sends pseudonymous usage events and categories to PostHog's EU Cloud to understand onboarding and feature use. These include which screens or features were used, plan selections, and an automatically generated device identifier, together with basic app/device information. We do not send pumping or feeding volumes, session durations or times, exact birth/due dates, bag quantities, notes, tags, formula prices or countdown dates. We do not use advertising identifiers, session replay, or cross-app tracking. Adapty processes purchases; an anonymous identifier may be used to match purchase outcomes to app usage, without your name or email. Our analytics provider applies a seven-year retention window to pseudonymous usage events. You can stop collection in Settings and reset the identifier by deleting your data. You can stop app usage collection in Settings → Privacy → Share usage data. Re-enabling does not upload activity from the disabled period. Delete all data resets the app's analytics identifier and clears unsent analytics. Resetting an identifier does not itself erase events already received by vendors; contact the published support address for applicable privacy requests.

Notifications

Pumping and storage reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; their content is not sent to us. iCloud may use Apple’s remote change notifications to sync your private records; these are separate from reminders.

Face ID

If you enable the app lock, iOS authenticates you. Milkly receives only the authentication result. Biometric templates remain protected by the Secure Enclave; we never receive them.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell, rent, or trade your data. We don’t track you across other apps or websites, and we don’t share advertising identifiers with data brokers or ad networks. We don’t show ads.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where data protection law applies, we process the limited data above to perform our contract with you (providing and managing your subscription and the app’s functionality) and for our legitimate interests in keeping the app reliable, preventing fraud and abuse, and understanding aggregate subscription performance and app usage. You can opt out of usage analytics in Settings. We do not use profiling for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Third parties and this website

Apple provides the App Store, iCloud and operating-system notifications. Adapty manages purchases. PostHog provides analytics through its EU Cloud. Providers may process some data outside your country under applicable safeguards. This website uses no analytics or cookies. GitHub Pages hosts it and may process connection information for hosting and security; see GitHub’s privacy statement.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Because we do not operate accounts and hold very little data tied to you, our ability to identify your specific data may be limited. To make a request, email us at support@nekitech.dev. EEA/UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

Deletion and privacy requests

Settings → Delete all data removes local records and propagates deletion to private iCloud when sync is available. Independently saved exports and backups remain. It does not cancel subscriptions or erase events already received by analytics providers. To request analytics deletion, copy the Analytics identifier under Settings → Privacy and email us before resetting your data. The identifier is shown only when available. We may need it to locate your events; we do not maintain named accounts.

Children

Milkly is for adults. Parents enter and control information about their baby. We do not provide accounts for minors.

The date above identifies this version. Material changes will also be described in the app’s What’s New release notes.
